Loop

Neighborhood Image

The Loop is the heart of Chicago’s downtown area. It is known to some as the epicenter of Chicago’s business district. The Sears (Willis) Tower, the many government buildings and offices, the Chicago Board of Trade are all examples of why it has such a name. The Loop is also the cultural hub of Chicago. Throughout the year you can visit tourist spots like: Art Institute of Chicago, House of Blues , Millennium Park, Broadway in Chicago, The Bean, Bank of America Theatre, Symphony Center, Palace Theatre, The spitting water walls, Buckingham fountain, and Grant park to name a few.

Grant Park is home to so many things. One of the most reunion festivals known to the Midwest is, The Taste of Chicago, Blues Fest, Movie in the park, weekly outdoor Dancing in the park, and the up and coming music fest Lollapalooza. Even in the winter you can visit Grant Park and have plenty of things to do. One of our favorites is Ice skating outdoors.

The Loop is home to many universities, some of which included Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University, Roosevelt University, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Due to all of the students attending these universities and all of the businesses consuming the loop developers have put together an amazing set of apartment and condo’s to be lived in. Some of the best views in the city are to be had in the loop.

Just outside most of the apartments and condo’s in the Loop you will find phenomenal shopping, restaurants, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues.

The Loops transportation is by far some of the best. There are five CTA’s train lines with multiple stops in The Loop. You can catch the Metra to the suburbs, and there are a number of bus routes go through The Loop.
