Logan Square

 

Logan Square is located just five miles northwest of  Chicago's loop. Bordered by West Bloomingdale, Armitage and Diversey. Logan Square is known for its central point where Milwaukee avenue, Kedzie, and Logan Boulevard all meet, and form a circular drive allowing you to go any direction you choose. In the center of this circle is the Illinois Centennial Monument, built in 1918 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Illinois' statehood. It is a 27-foot-tall stone obelisk topped with an eagle.
 
Logan Square is a great place to live. There are plenty of great restaurants and places to go. Buzzer has a few favorite we think you should know about. Fireside Bowl, The Logan Theater, Logan Square Auditorium, The international Art and Antiques Centre, and The Congress Theatre which is one of the lager venues in Chicago. It has been known for the House of Blues to host there shows at the Congress when they feel they’re going to over sell their own venue.
 
Getting around is easy. It is only 17 minutes to downtown and 24 minutes to O'Hare via CTA's Blue Line. Located Just west of the Kennedy Expressway, Logan Square is an ideal location for those who commute into the suburbs. The CTA buses run on Milwaukee, Armitage, Fullerton and Diversey.
