Evanston, Illinois is a Chicago suburb. It is just north of the city of Chicago. Taking public transportation from the Loop will take you 45 minutes. The Metra and CTA Yellow and Purple line will make traveling easy. If you have a car it will take you 25 minutes while driving down Lake Shore Drive. Evanston is known for the Big Ten College, Northwestern University, and there “Wild Cats”.
Evanston has more to offer than just a college town. Although you will find plenty of young people in the area it is set up for living of all ages. The downtown area is filled with so many restaurants, dance studios, boutiques, bars, taverns, movie theaters, city parks, beaches, and niche shops.
